Coordination Meeting Held for the Asian Championships

According to the Public Relations Office of the International Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Federation (IZSF), a coordination and planning meeting for the 7th Asian Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Championships was held at the headquarters of the International Federation, with the participation of Dr. Mehralizadeh, President of IZSF; Dr. Amiari, Acting President of the National Federation; and other officials.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mitra Rouhi and Dr. Amiari presented reports on the activities and preparations carried out to date. Subsequently, technical and operational matters, along with detailed aspects of the event organisation, were discussed and reviewed. It was agreed that the necessary follow-up actions would be undertaken to implement the discussed plans and requirements.

The International Federation, in cooperation with the National Federation and with the hosting of Urmia City, will make every effort to organise the Asian Championships with the principles of fairness, integrity, and high quality, in accordance with international standards and within a friendly yet competitive environment. The event aims to further promote the growth and development of Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani throughout the Asian continent.

The meeting was attended by officials from the International Federation, including Dr. Mitra Rouhi, Acting Secretary General; Dr. Seyed Abdollah Sajjadi, Chairman of the Technical Committee; Mr. Esmail Shams Kolahi, Secretary of the Technical Committee; Mr. Gharaghi, Chairman of the Commission; Mr. Majid Panahi, Secretary of the Zurkhaneh Sports Commission; and Mr. Akbar Khoub, Secretary of the Koshti Pahlavani Commission.

Representatives from the National Federation also participated, including Mr. Masoud Maleki, Secretary General of the Federation; Dr. Nafarzadeh, Director of International Relations; and Mr. Saberi, Director of Public Relations. The participants shared their views and recommendations to ensure the successful and effective organisation of the upcoming championships.
