Meeting of IZSF Board of Directors at the Olympic Committee of Tajikistan; Sports Cooperation Expands

According to the Public Relations Office of the International Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Federation (IZSF), a high-level meeting was held at the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, where Dr. Mehralizadeh, President of IZSF, together with members of the Executive Board, including Dr. Manaf Hashemi, Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Dr. Bathaei, Deputy Minister of Interior and Chairman of the IZSF Education and Research Committee; Mohammad Anwar Jekdalek, Vice President; Sulaymon Abdulvahidov, Vice President; Dr. Dolatshah, Treasurer; and Dr. Rouhi, Acting Secretary General of IZSF, met with the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan and the Deputy Minister of Sports of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the participants discussed several important issues, including expanding bilateral cooperation, establishing Tajikistan as a regional training centre for Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani, strengthening the support of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan for the country's national federation, and organising a centralised international training course to be hosted by Tajikistan.

Officials of the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sports of Tajikistan reaffirmed their full support for the development and promotion of Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani and expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation with the International Federation.

The meeting marked a significant step towards the development of Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani throughout the region and laid the foundation for future educational initiatives, technical cooperation, and sustainable development programmes under the auspices of IZSF.
