Board Chairman of the Federation of Islamic Countries Solidarity Games held a meeting in Baku
According to IZSF public relations report, this morning the meeting of the Board of Directors and executive members of the Federation of Islamic Countries Solidarity Games (ISSF) was attended by Bahram Afshar Zadeh, a member of the executive board and senior adviser in the executive affairs of the International Federation of Power Sports and Wrestling, was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. started and thanked and appreciated the actions of the host country and international federations for cooperation in holding the fourth edition of these games.
Following this leak, Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Nassar, Secretary General (ISSF) extended the report of the last meeting. The Federation presented to the members of the Board of Directors in Riyadh.
In the following, the representative of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan talked about the conditions of hosting, the number of participating countries, the way of organization, the accommodation of the athletes and the way of media coverage of the 4th Solidarity Games of Islamic countries. Bahram Afsharzadeh presented a report on the activities of the IZSF, in holding the powerlifting and wrestling competitions, regarding the entry of this sport into the fourth edition of the Games of Islamic countries. At the end of this meeting, Akef Joghtay Giliç, the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Turkey, whose country is going to host the fifth edition of these games in May 2021, addressed the journalists and media members of the program. He spoke about the measures taken to implement these competitions as well as possible.
