According to the public relations report of the International Wrestling and Wrestling Federation: the first day of the wrestling sports competition The South Asian wrestling tournament, hosted by Nepal, ended with the championship of Afghanistan in both the team and individual divisions.

In the team event, Afghanistan took the first place in the competition with the most points, Bangladesh took the second place, and Nepal and Sri Lanka teams reached the joint third place.

In individual materials, the following results were obtained:

Sharp wheel: Mushtaq Hasan Sharif from Afghanistan first place, Ahmad Ranzo from Bangladesh second place, Noam Madhushankaba from Sri Lanka and Nematullah from Pakistan jointly won the third place

Chamni wheel: Mustafa Nuristani from Afghanistan and Sirajul Islam from Bangladesh, respectively  placed first and second, and Maharajan Rujit from Nepal and Gabi Raj Rajalikaran from Sri Lanka shared third place.

Stone: Hakimullah Baig from Afghanistan is the first place, Zikr Ali Khan from Pakistan is the second place, and Siong Nanam Jalit Han and Ray Sri Sarut Chanura from Bangladesh are joint third place.

 

Kabada: Chanura Sri Sarot from Bangladesh and Ahmad Samim Niazi from Afghanistan won first and second place respectively and Maharajan Raja from Nepal came in third place

Heavy competition: Toroyalai Mirzadeh from Afghanistan, Abdul Aziz from Pakistan and Maramungno from Bangladesh won first to third place respectively. Zaki Ali Khan from Pakistan and Dipo Ray from Bangladesh placed second and third respectively.

Mohammed Bagheri, who is in charge of organizing the competitions, expressed his satisfaction with the quality level of the teams and said: "Today we witnessed a beautiful and close competition between the South Asian countries, and this is a sign that the International Federation of Power Sports and Wrestling is getting closer. to its main mission, which is the globalization of this field.

In continuation of these competitions, athletes from South Asian countries will compete in wrestling tomorrow.
