According to the public relations report of the International Wrestling and Wrestling Federation, on Saturday 19/03/98, in a meeting attended by « "Mohsen Mehralizadeh" The head of IZSF, "Mohammed Ali Shujaei" Secretary General IZSF, "Mohammed Anwar Jakdalek" Deputy IZSF of Afghanistan and the guest of the meeting "Khanler Gurban F" The head of the Azerbaijan Powerlifting and Wrestling Federation and member of the executive board of the federation, the members agreed to hold the first round of powerlifting and wrestling games of Islamic countries in November 2019, hosted by Azerbaijan.

According to this report, athletes from 12 Islamic countries will participate in this competition.  

In this meeting, it was also decided that within the next six months, preparations will be made to hold the World Cup of Powerlifting and Wrestling in Turkey.

It should be noted that for the better preparation of the teams, it was approved that a multi-faceted tournament will be held in North Khorasan province in the next three months with the participation of six countries, Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
