According to the Public Relations Office of the International Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani Federation, the 5th World Cup of Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani will be hosted by India, bringing together athletes from seven countries: Iran, Uganda, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tanzania, Belarus, Iraq, and India.
Competitors will participate in various disciplines of Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani, showcasing their technical skills, athletic excellence, and the traditional values of Pahlevani (chivalry, honor, and sportsmanship).
The Zurkhaneh Sports and Koshti Pahlavani World Cup is recognized as one of the most prestigious international events in this traditional sport.
