Ministry of Sports & Youth announced the formation of the new World Federation by National Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlavani Federation of I.R.Iran rejected

IZSF President announced the cancellation of the formation of a parallel federation to this federation, which had been taken steps in this regard last year.

According to Tasnim News Agency, during a this meeting a few days ago discussed some points of views Dr. Ahmad Donyamali, Minister of Sports and Youth, spoke with Mohsen Mehralizadeh, Mr. Mehrali BaranCheshmeh President of the Zurkhaneh Sports & Pahlavani Wrestling Federation of I.R.Iran.

The reason for holding this joint meeting in one country how they can established the new international federation whereas IZSF is exists.

In an interview with a sports reporter from Tasnim News Agency, IZSF President said about the recent meeting with the Minister of Sports: It was a very good and valuable meeting and lasted 2.5 hours. Considering the history of friendship and companionship that we have had with the Minister for more than two decades, we gave him a chance and we talked. The main discussion was mainly about the Supreme Leader’s order that was announced to me twenty years ago; "Make this sport international." I recently submitted a report to him, and following numerous previous reports, he stated in his speech that "try to show zurkhaneh sports & Koshti Pahlavani in international, Asian, Continental and Olympic arenas, because this sport is both beautiful, meaningful, and has a special form and system, and it dominates other sports." I always give explanations  and present with numerous reports about the activities of the IZSF. This federation has 85 countries from 5 continents as nation members. IZSF  have recognized this discipline and have their own coaches; a coach who recites poetry in Persian as well as Murshed (mentor), and beats the Zarb and rings the bell. In addition, there are 2,000 active international athletes who participate in competitions.

He added: "In the past 20 years, what the Supreme Leader intended, namely the development of Zurkhaneh Sports & Koshti Pahlavani , which he personally he has been implemented as the head of physical education stated in the early days of my tenure. We emphasized this issue in the recent meeting. The minister was kind and praised the work that is being done. In addition, several other points were emphasized. One of the issues was the payment of arrears for the past two years. According to the ministry's approvals, we should have a budget of 50 billion every year, which would total 100 billion tomans in arrears for two years. The minister also ordered that this issue be arranged and paid as soon as possible. Another issue was how to arrange the budget for next year, which naturally should be increased. Dr. Ahmad Donya Mali immediately ordered Shervin Esbaghian and Borna Firouzi, the deputy ministers of sports and finance, to do it as soon as possible. Considering that the Planning and Budget Organization had also confirmed this, they wrote to the Ministry of Sports to give us this amount next year and pay the arrears.

In response to the question, "Did you talk to Donya Mali about the formation of the new world federation that was established last year?" He said: BaranCheshmeh said that this issue is ruled out. The Inspection Organization had previously raised issues in three letters, one of which was the issue of parallel work. The head of the Planning and Budget Organization had also written that while the Leader’s decree on the development of Zurkhaneh sports $ Koshti Pahlavani had been carried out and this work was being done efficiently, why have they done repetitive work and to stop this work as soon as possible. The Inspection Organization even asked the former minister why he did this? Of course, the former minister said that he had no knowledge of it, and Barancheshmeh also stated the same thing. Of course, we know that the Inspection Organization even called the legal director of the Ministry of Sports and gave a specific order not to do such a thing. In any case, Barancheshmeh said in this meeting that this work was not done, because this activities was done in the last days of Kiyomars Hashemi’s , National Olympic Committee of I.R.Iran.

He stated: Dr. Ahmad Donya Mali was aware of these issues and said that he had no responsibility in the field of sports and was only a representative, but because he knew this field and was also the treasurer of the IZSF for several years, he was upset to hear these issues. He said that apart from being a minister now, he was upset by what had been done, because he realized that the leadership’s order was being deviated.

Regarding the expenses of the meeting that was spent last year to form a new world federation, IZSF President said: This is a question that was mentioned in three letters from the different dports organization which is belong to I.R.Iran. The inspection organization said that first of all, this repetitive work must be prevented. They even said that by doing this, it would be a bad lesson for the competing countries that are also spending money to own this sport. Ultimately, the inspection organization’s words were that this work should be finished.

IZSF President continued: In the first part of the three expenses that were made, forty people were invited to Iran from foreign countries under the title of “How to globalize Zurkhaneh sport.” Hasn’t this sport been globalized and aren’t 85 countries its members? Doesn’t the World Federation have 2,000 members? What did you want that you brought 40 people, spent, paid for tickets. This whole program cost 17 billion.

He clarified: They were told who gave the order for these expenses and from whom you had the order and after that you held the competition in Tabriz and Isfahan. Tell me where you got the money from and who gave you permission to spend for this, while this money should have been spent for the national development of this field within the country. As I said, this 17 billion is just one item of expenses, which is not a small amount. The inspection question who gave permission for this much expenses for the development in this areas. Thanks
