The meeting of the head of IZSF with the head of the National Olympic Committee of Türkiye

The first coordination meeting for the participation of power sports and wrestling in the fifth period of the solidarity games of Islamic countries-2021-Turkey was held at the place of the National Olympic Committee of that country in the city of Istanbul.

In this meeting, which was attended by Dr. Ugur Edner, President of the Turkish National Olympic Committee and Vice President of the International Olympic Committee IOC and Dr. Mohsen Mehr Alizadeh, President IZSF was held. The parties reviewed the available solutions for the participation of power sports and wrestling in the fifth edition of the Solidarity Games of Islamic countries, which is scheduled to be held in Konya in 2021. They sat down to discuss and chat.

Dr. Edner, while declaring his interest in the presence of this sport due to the common cultural roots and the close relationship between the two countries, expressed hope that due to the remaining time, the conditions would be suitable. It should happen in such a way that this sport will be present in this period of the games as in the previous round of games in Baku. Zurkhanei and Keshti Pahlavi, while expressing their satisfaction for hosting this series of games in Turkey, referring to the successful participation of this field in the previous round, the strategic plans of IZSF for the development of this Among the member countries of the International Federation of Solidarity, he pointed out the solidarity of Islamic countries and especially Turkey.

In this meeting, Ali Kermit Aklou, a member of the executive board of the Turkish National Olympic Committee, Amir Sediqi, the head of the development office and International cooperation IZSF and also the cultural advisor of the Iranian consulate in Istanbul were also present.
