Barmaki: I told the Kenyans that you should learn chivalry from Zorkhane sports

Jaafar Barmaki, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kenya, during the Peace and Friendship Cup, made it possible for the athletes of Zorkhaneh of Kenya to perform this Iranian Islamic sport by attending the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Regarding the presence of Zorkhaneh sports, the Iranian ambassador said: This is the second time that I am on a mission in Kenya. The first time was about 23 years ago, and I took measures in this regard at that time. I remember that once we brought the Iranian national football team to Kenya. And we once sent the Kenyan national team to Iran, who played a friendly match with Iran. One of the areas that I am very willing to work on is sports discussions, because anyway, this topic helps the diplomacy of our country. Considering the prevailing economic conditions, we try to do these actions with the minimum facilities we have. Regarding the holding of the Peace and Friendship Cup, not long ago, Mr. Matthew, the head of the Zorkhaneh Sports Federation of Kenya, came to the embassy and had a meeting. They said that there will be a competition and they wanted to see what we can do to help? After the  checks we did we provided uniform clothes for these athletes and we helped them as much as we could.  Of course, I was looking for equipment related to Zorkhaneh from Iran. but because we were worried that these equipments don't have the required standard, that's why we raised this issue in the communication we had with the International Federation of Zorkhaneh Sports, and with the help of the International Federation, a complete package of sports equipment was arranged Zorkhanehs should be sent to us. By the way, a container of equipment was supposed to be sent to us at the same time, and this equipment was loaded in the same container and sent to Kenya. Hai Zorkhane said: In the discussion of young people, especially in African countries, which are more or less like us, the actions that can be taken in the field of sports will naturally help a lot. We can show a good image of our country and radiate our culture. During the conversations I had with the Kenyan athletes before the start of their competition, I suggested that this sport is not just a sport, it means that behind it there is a series of actions and chivalrous behavior that you should learn. The expansion of this sport is naturally something that cannot be denied. Young people must be financially secure to turn to sports, otherwise they have to spend a large part of their time to earn money. This sport is well accepted among the people here, if it is paid attention to, it can have a good position in the future.
